Debenhams Sustainability Report

Environmental responsibility

Reducing our impact on the environment is an essential part of a sustainable business. As well as complying with all mandatory requirements.

As a retailer, we consume valuable resources and produce waste. It is our responsibility to ensure our consumption and disposal is proportionate and efficient – not only to reduce our environmental footprint, but to lower costs and thereby improve our ability to endure economically.

Debenhams’ environmental responsibilities focus on carbon, energy and waste. We aim to reduce our impacts through improved eco-awareness, efficiency and sustainable investment.
